Firefly is the passion project of three ER vets who met, became friends, started families, and wanted to be able to provide accessible, quality care to patients and clients. Supporting the community is at the core of Firefly.

Dr. Victoria Orlando

Dr. Victoria Orlando currently resides in Schuylkill County along with her husband, daughter, and menagerie of animals. She attended veterinary school at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN. She previously served in the PA Army National Guard as a healthcare specialist/combat medic and is now a veterinary officer with the U.S Army Reserve. In her free time, she enjoys running and reading.

Dr. Gina Watzka

Dr. Gina Watzka is a 2014 Graduate of The University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine. She has worked in both general practice and emergency medicine. Prior to attending veterinary school, Dr. Watzka was a registered nurse and worked for eight years in a cardiac care unit. Originally from the Hudson Valley, she currently lives in Bern Township with her husband and two boys. Dr. Watzka currently has four cats (Mrs. Bexley, Smudge, Pumpkin, and Martha), a chihuahua named Scottie, and a saltwater fish tank. In her free time Dr. Watzka enjoys reading, gardening, fishing, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Casey Dignan

Dr. Casey Dignan received her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania. She has worked in emergency medicine for the past five years; she enjoys a variety of cases, both medical and surgical. Dr. Dignan resides in Bernville with her husband, daughter, and assortment of animals including Rhodesian Ridgebacks, ponies, goats, and chickens. In her spare time Dr. Dignan enjoys gardening, beekeeping, horseback riding, and hiking.
